In general, do Ryzen 5 processors with letter X also work on a motherboard that does not have a video card, or is it necessary to order a Ryzen 5 processor with letter G?

It doesn't matter whether you have a graphics card on the mainboard or not. I work with both, i.e. with an integrated GPU in the CPU chip and an external graphics card on the PCIe slot. As far as I know, you can only control one of the two cards with 1 monitor.
The fact is, the Ryzen 5 5600X does not have an integrated GPU, i.e. graphics. Therefore, an external graphics card is required, which is then plugged into the PCIe slot of the mainboard. The clear answer to your question: NO - a Ryzen 5 5600X will not run without a dedicated graphics card on the board. You have to have some kind of graphics.
You can also find out directly on the AMD website whether a CPU has an integrated graphics unit or not, e.g. for this processor here https://www.amd.com/en...
An internal graphics unit on the CPU die is usually not very powerful, so it is hardly suitable for demanding games.

Thank you 1000 for your answer! On the web I found this answer that suits me :

Yes, the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor can run without an external graphics card (GPU). The Ryzen 5 5600X is a 6-core, 12-thread desktop processor based on AMD's Zen 3 architecture, which includes an integrated GPU called Radeon Graphics. This integrated GPU can handle basic 2D and 3D graphics rendering and can be used to run some productivity and entertainment applications, such as video playback, Internet browsing and basic-level gaming.

However, the Ryzen 5 5600X's integrated GPU is not designed to deliver high-end gaming performance or to meet the high resolution and detail requirements of some professional graphics applications. If you want high-level gaming or graphics performance, you should use an external dedicated graphics card, such as an AMD Radeon or NVIDIA GeForce card.

Greetings. 👋

Ryzen 5 processors "X" do not have a "built-in" graphics card (no GPU support)
