Well even though this is because the supplier charged them more but it's still disappointed. Not that heavily flucuating prices are a new thing on digitec.
Patience, patience the borders will open again, and CH will whine again!
At the moment, the dealers also have a grip on old customers who have been buying in Switzerland for years, which is a pity.
I am in exactly the same situation and apparently there will be a restock at the end of January. I hope we can get them for the beginning of February :/
Pretty sure, yes. I ordered in mid-December and the date has already been postponed twice, I still don't have a CPU. It's really tedious at the moment, apparently similar problems as with the current graphics cards (somewhat less acute)...
Hi
A few days ago they were immediately available again, so I would advise you to take a quick look once a day to see if the delivery date has changed.
The sale only starts on 5.11.2020 from 3pm?! So today. The new CPUs don't even have prices yet. https://www.digitec.ch/de/page/amds-ryzen-5000-prozessoren-sind-auf-dem-vormarsch-17906
Of course, whoever pays higher prices through Jakob DE is served first. The problem is that Switzerland has lower prices for electronic devices and fewer customers, so the German/French and English markets are preferred because they can sell at higher prices.
As you can see, Digitec does not give delivery dates yet. I would therefore not expect a short delivery date.
It is not known. They keep postponing. I ordered it at the beginning of December and it was supposed to arrive this week. Try Folettisuperstore, they often have a few pieces in stock in Grancia.
Dear digitec team, the pricing of your "partner" JACOB DE is an outrage. I think I can write here on behalf of some of your long-time customers and ask you to question these extortionate offers. A Ryzen 9 5900x is now listed there for €1609.77, a RTX 3090 Strix OC for €4203.12 (as of 29.01.2021). What is incomprehensible to me personally is the fact that digitec offers such a retailer a platform in Switzerland. Serious question, do you really need this? It's no secret that you achieved record sales last year, so I ask again, do you really need this? You're all about customer satisfaction, so where exactly is the advantage for the end customer with JACOB DE? Apart from negative comments and "ugly" customers, I can't see any advantage here, neither for your customers nor for you. There is a saying: "Sometimes less is more"... In this sense, thank you for taking note.
No question, I'm just logging the postponed delivery dates here.
- Ordered on 28 Dec (from return order, had it before, dead on arrival).
- It was announced in the second week of January, up to and including "delivered today". Then suddenly nothing.
- Second week of February: tomorrow, today, tomorrow, today, ... next week.
- Third week of February: tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, ... we'll see.
Digitec, can you rap the supplier's knuckles so they stop lying?
Announcing deliveries when they're not even on their way is a real pain.
I understand if I have to wait. That's just the way it is. But a little planning wouldn't be too much to ask.
Good day community,
I'm in the process of building my first computer myself. I was able to get hold of a 5600x for the launch. However, I am now facing a small problem. In my previous pre-build, an Intel processor is installed and as far as I have heard, the BIOS of older mainboards must be updated in order to use the new Ryzen 5000s. Since I don't have an older Ryzen CPU at hand, this could become a problem. Is this also the case for mainboards with x570 chipsets? I can't quite see my way through the descriptions of the mobo manufacturers. In many cases you can only read "Ryzen 5000 ready". Does this mean that no BIOS update is necessary? I would be really happy if someone could give me an answer or recommend a motherboard with which I can operate the CPU without a BIOS update or somehow get around this problem.
Yes, it's a mess at the moment... If you have time just wait until the price drops again to 330-340 I would not count on it.
Otherwise I can recommend you to order directly from amd you have 3-7 days at home...
I myself have the 5600x is quite nice really is also enough. In the link below you get but for good price 5800X

by the way i wouldn't spend too much money for CPU end of year there will be a new version for am4 the last one. Then comes am5.
