I'm not as up to date as I used to be. Now I want to replace the old PC and my question to you is: Which mainboard from asus is the best for the i9 12900? But it should be reasonably priced.

depends on what you want to do with it... and how well you want it cooled... but the cheapest models are from 200 to 1900fr. and since you want a 12900 i recommend the 12900K and the asus rog maximus z690 hero board... it's the cheapest one you can overclock with which makes sense if you already take the 12900...
