Question about iRobot Braava 390 T
I'm looking for a dusting robot that can also be programmed so that it mops when I'm not at home and, ideally, can also clean several rooms. Which model can do this?
The iRobot Braava 390 T is certainly not suitable in this case. The Braava cannot be used without supervision as it must be carried to the charging station after it is finished. If this is not done, water will continue to run out of the mob and may damage the parquet or laminate flooring.
I only use the Braava for damp mopping between uses. As it is extremely quiet (you can hardly hear it), I do this while watching TV. I don't use Braava for dusting. For that I have the Samsung Powerbot VR9000. This is a great machine which is noisy but does its job autonomously without any problems. I have programmed the Powerbot to vacuum every day at 15.00 when I am not at home. The navigation system works great. It cleans all the rooms and returns to its charging station without any problems. It is so thorough that I hardly ever have to go through it with a normal vacuum cleaner.
