I'm beginning to wonder why my packaging border was missing. Was there an employee who redeemed the headphones himself? Has anyone else experienced this too?

No, in my case, the article was complete with border. SONY requires a photo of the "cut-out" IMEI! Photo from entire packaging border is invalid for headphones. PS Headphones arrived yesterday. Top!
