If I would like to combine this [LG 34UM69G-B] monitor to the Intel Cedar City [BOXSTK2M3W64CC (Intel Core M3-6Y30, 4GB, SSD)], then, would the monitor be able to power through its USB-C port the Intel Compute Stick. My question resides in a quest for the most cable-less setup. If you know any other galaxus monitor that could power up this Intel Compute Stick, then please, I am open to suggestions
Hi, I am not sure about Intel Cedar but this Monitor is not able to power my Macbook pro 2019 13'. What I read online is that the power output from the adapter of the monitor is less than what Macbook needs and that is why it does not charge. I would recommend looking at the power rating of your laptop charger and comparing it to this Monitors power out (By the way, USB C cable of the monitor is able to charge my iPad pro and phone, thus confirming the power output theory). Hope this helps you
