If a solar cell is installed for charging at the same time as the load, does the voltage remain stable even if the solar cell sometimes supplies more and sometimes less power? I need a constant 5V and approx. 900mA for 24-hour operation of a Rasoberry with Birdnet software.

The test has shown that it does NOT work with PowerBanks with combined IN/OUT connections. If there is too little light, the solar cell starts to consume power instead of simply stopping operation. It seems to work with PowerBanks with separate IN/OUT connections. Tested with a GOODAA that has one MicroUSB for charging and one USB-C and two USB-A for external devices. Unfortunately it's too weak to last a few days with fog. I'll keep looking....

The voltage is stable, the battery in the power bank has around 3.7V, so it must always be increased for the 5V USB. Therefore, it does not matter if the battery voltage drops to 3.0V or rises to 4.2V during charging. The solar cell for charging the power bank would then also always supply at least 5V (USB standard). Please note that you can operate the Raspberry on the power bank for a maximum of 20 hours without a solar cell. This means that two consecutive cloudy days will very quickly come to an end.

I'm sorry, but I can't answer this question. Do not use a solar cell
