So I have a Dell XPS 13 with Linux and I use two monitors at the same time on the dock. When I start up with the dock connected, I can duplicate the internal screen to one of the monitors and extend the display to the other monitor. However, if I connect the dock after I have started the computer, this does not work. This could either be a problem with the firmware or with Linux, but it is technically possible in any case.
