I would like to use this tablet outdoors. Does this device have internet access without wifi (mobile). Can it be used with a prepaid card? Is there a protection box against rain and dust?

No, it does not have a SIM slot, so you can only access the internet via WLAN.
There are bags and cases under accessories... but it would have to be a special case to protect against rain and dust. For the Tab E, however, there are just book covers.
