I would like to use the flash on a Sony A58: is it possible with all functions?

According to the manufacturer's website, the combo fits:
"The new DSLR cameras EOS 100D and EOS 700D from Canon, D7100 from Nikon as well as the Alpha SLT-A58 from Sony also fit perfectly with the corresponding variants of the current Metz system flash units 58 AF-2, 52 AF-1, 44 AF-1, 36 AF-5 and 24 AF-1."
