I would like to scan colour pictures I have painted myself and print them out again in very good quality. Now I am wondering: If I have a scanner that makes scans with such a good resolution, does the printer also have to have an exceedingly high print quality or is a colour printer with a resolution of e.g. 600x600 dpi sufficient to be able to make a very good colour print from my high-resolution scan? Thanks for the answers!
Hello, if you want to make copies over your pictures and the quality of the image is important, then you cannot avoid buying a colour printer, which has a high resolution. It is unfortunately like that. Although sure, the quality of the scanner certainly helps you, but in the end it's the resolution of the printer that counts. Kind regards
