I would like to know what the GPU looks like and what actually makes GP104 and GP106? is there a difference or just the newer Pascal technology ??.

Hello David
The model number of the chip says something about the performance. The GTX 1080 for example has a GP104 installed, exactly the same as the GTX 1070 (these are the faster chips). Normally the GTX 1060 is not delivered or produced with the GP104 chip (but with the GP106), therefore this will be an error in the product description :)
So: lower number behind the GP, more powerful chip

Normally I don't care much about CHF 4.- for such products, but I already ordered it when it was still CHF 300.-...should I cancel this card now and order it again, as the delivery status for me is "approx. beginning of September"? :)
