I would like to know what the difference is between the 60w and 100w docking, is it the charging speed? Is 60w enough to charge a laptop+mouse+headphones on the dock? If not, could I use my 135w hp laptop charger instead of the docking charger?

Yes, this 60W dock supports laptop charging, keyboard-mouse charging (even wireless), headphones and can display 2 external HD screens.
