Question about OWC Thunderbolt 2 Docking

I would like to connect this docking station OWC Thunderbolt 2 Dock to my 4k monitor via HDMI. I can't get a picture on the monitor. If I connect the monitor directly to the Mac, everything is fine. Any ideas?

Hi, the docking station also has its quirks. Some things go away if you download the drivers from the OWC support page. Otherwise request a chat directly with OWC, they can help ;)

in der Bedienungsanleitung: daran muss man sich halten, sonst geht es nicht.
If you are connecting only one display to the dock, you can do so via the following connection types: Thunderbolt, Mini Displayport, HDMI. HOWEVER, if you intend to connect two displays simultaneously, you MUST use BOTH a native Thunderbolt display and a native HDMI display. Other combinations or adapters will not work.
