Question about Apple Studio Display Standard

I would like to connect my Apple Studio Display to my MacBook Pro M2 Pro via HDMI (I would like to avoid the MacBook being permanently connected to the power supply). Which adapter for the Apple Studio Display would I need for this? Or is the permanent connection via USB-C cable no problem for the MacBook battery? Thanks for any feedback.

Problem is relative, but I had the same scenario and solved it with the Mac app "AlDente". This prevents charging beyond a set percentage. Then the Macbook uses the mains power permanently at e.g. 70%.
