I would like to connect 2 Bose QuietComfort 35 II to one device (iPad) so that two people can watch Netflix at the same time. Does anyone know if this is possible?

No is not possible. It is best to use headphones that have an audio output (some gaming headphones do, e.g. Arctis Pro wireless). Then you would connect the second pair of headphones (any pair) to the first pair of headphones (they must have an output) with a cable.
