I would like to buy the Seagate IronWolf hard drive (10TB, 3.5", NAS) for my backup.
What kind of external enclosure would you recommend that fits this hard drive?
Basically, all enclosures in which hard drives with a size of 5 1/4" can be installed will fit. The question is better asked when you consider what you want to do? For a simple backup on occasion, an enclosure via USB (in this case only USB 3.0 or higher) is sufficient. If you want to work with the data all the time, as "Conquest73" already wrote, a NAS should be given priority. If you want to secure the data permanently, a copy of the data is not enough, but that is another story.
