I would like to ask you if this adapter is suitable for a French washing machine (purchased in France) for use in Switzerland, fixed wall socket with square rod. Thank you in advance for your answer.

This adapter is normally suitable for most European sockets (including French, German and Italian). If the Swiss side plug fits your socket then you can use it.
Just be careful with the maximum current, this adapter works up to 16A
