Question about Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance Double Expansion

I would like to achieve the warmest possible dimmed light at the dining table and I am not sure if it is worth buying the Color version. According to some youtube, the Color version seems to give a warmer light while the White version can be dimmed thinner. Is that right? Should the White version be enough for me?
