I would have to know this very well (should be able to). Up to this point I assume that the topic of Advanced Audio Coding will continue to be hushed up globally so that the masses don't get the idea of using AAC. After all, it is sometimes possible to encode music with AAC where a normal person cannot hear any difference to the original at 32 kbps. MP4 is a container format for MPEG-4 video. MPEG-4 contains AAC as an audio codec, which is why files created with AAC encoders normally have the file extension MPA (basically: "MPEG-4 Audio"). This in turn means that an MP4 player should be able to play AAC audio. But no reference is made to this! Or is the decoder for MP4 audio being blocked by the supplier? *? The manufacturer provides different information about the device in question. The datasheet states - as does our favourite dealer here - that the device supports FLAC audio. This is another audio format that requires an additional decoder. However, there is no mention of this on the supplier's website! Obfuscation tactics? At the moment, I wouldn't even be surprised if the device could also play OGG Vorbis. However, I don't know anything about this. :-(
