I would be interested to know why and for what you have bought the part? You can also do all this with the mobile phone, I can't really convince myself to buy it yet, but somehow I'm "in the mood" for it.
If you don't know what you want to do with it, save your money. Do you also mount your national car phone on the bottom of a motorbike or on your helmet when downhilling? Probably not. That's exactly what an action camera is for. If you don't need that, you're better off with a smartphone. You don't buy a camera with interchangeable lenses if you think that your smartphone takes such great pictures.
