I will buy SAMSUNG mobile phones from digitec again in the future. I bought the above smartphone with a contract extension from Swisscom. Unfortunately, I found out that it has the SWC firmware on it, which has received 5 updates so far. My colleague has the AUT firmware, and he has received 12 updates so far. That's funny.

My experience, regardless of the smartphone manufacturer, is that as soon as a network provider (Swisscom, Sunrise, Salt, ...) is involved (pre-installation of any "account apps", bootloading screen of the provider's logo, etc.), it takes longer for a software update to be issued. Probably because it has to go over "another table".
