Question about Garmin zūmo 595LM motorbike navigation system
I wanted to order it (June 2019). Then I saw that the traffic reports are still transmitted with TMC (FM). Why should I buy a sat nav for over CHF 500 that will no longer be able to receive traffic reports in 2021 when FM is scheduled to be switched off at an accelerated rate? I want a motorbike sat nav with the new, digital TPEG. Does anyone know of a suitable bike sat nav?
I downloaded the Garmin APP Smart Link on the iPhone and connected it to the navigation system, now the live traffic data is displayed, also works abroad with roaming, but be careful if you don't have any data volume.
