Question about ASUS Radeon ROG STRIX RX VEGA 64 O8G GAMING
I wanted to install the card today, but it didn't work. Components Gigabyte Z390 aorus ultra I 5 9600K 750Watt RAM corsair vegance ddr4 2x8gb 2133MHz Windows 10 pro I last had a 1070ti in it and it works fine. When I wanted to install the vega and booted up the PC, there was only blackscreen kotz....... I took the card out again, it was very hot! The leds worked perfectly, so the card had power. What is the reason for this? Thank you very much in advance.
What kind of monitor do you use?
If you have a G-sync monitor, turn Gsync off.
I would also recommend (if possible) connecting the monitor via DisplayPort because as far as I know HDMI limits the frame rate to 60Hz. With DP you are not limited.

I was able to solve the problem.
It looks like one of the hdmi connections is defective.
Is the card running in another computer? - Based on the symptoms, the card could be defective.
