Question about myStrom Smartplug
I want to measure the electricity production of my balcony PV. Is this (or a similar device) available that can be operated from an external socket?

This socket measures the instantaneous consumption of the appliances connected to it. It's the same as the popular "Kill-a-Watt". So if, for example, your installation supplies 2000 W but you only plug in 30 W, the smartplug will indicate 30 W.

The mystrom adapters are actually intended for indoor use. However, I have been using one outside in a socket box for around 7 years and it works without any problems.
