I use the SSD with my M2 MacBook Air, and I have big problems with it. Every time I try to import more than 50 .ARW files (Sony RAW format), the SSD disconnects. I formatted the SSD and then it finally worked on one of 15 attempts, but the .ARW files were "corrupted" according to Lightroom Classic and the data was not "retrievable". Now the SSD won't connect to the Mac at all, it's a real pain. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Sounds like a defect, unfortunately. I would send it in and not use it any more. Afterwards, it works intermittently and then you rely on it and have another data loss.
