Question about OWC Thunderbolt 2 Docking

I use a MacBook Pro 13" Retina and an external monitor Philips Brilliance 288P. If I use this dock for all connections can I wake up the screen from SleepMode from the Mac?

I have a similar setup with MBP 15 Retina and a BenQ monitor via DisplayPort. I have LAN, ext. HD and various USB on the dock. Works quite well.
Rarely it does not recognise the monitor correctly and then has the wrong resolution.

I use this dock on a Mac Pro and at home on a 15" Retina PB, with an external 27" Thunderbolt monitor, waking up is no problem because I only looked at the doc after the monitor, I have 8 TB of storage connected to the dock via 4 USB ports and they run super fast. Only the backup is very slow.
