I took the plunge and bought this charger but I'm surprised to find that the cable and no transformer came with it... Are you using any phone transformer? It seems to me that it needs 5v 2.1A, I don't have a charger with that amperage... Thanks in advance

I use mine with the charger from an old Samsung phone. It works very well.
