I still have an iPhone with a Lightening connector, but I'm thinking of buying a new iPhone soon. Can I also use the USB-C microphone set with a USB-C to Lightening adapter?

The USB-C microphone set cannot simply be used with a USB-C to Lightning adapter. For iPhones with a Lightning connector, an MFI-certified (Made for iPhone) cable, such as the SC15, SC19 or SC21 from RØDE, is required to establish a connection. A simple USB-C to Lightning adapter is not sufficient as iOS has specific requirements for connecting USB microphones.
Alternatively, the Wireless Micro can also be connected directly to an iPhone via Bluetooth and used via the RØDE Capture app, which eliminates the need for the receiver and requires no cable connection.
