I seriously think I've found the right gaming monitor, but given the price, I have a technical question. I understand that it's not recommended for an OLED screen to be left on for long periods. Even when switched off, it would consume energy unnecessarily and this could reduce its lifespan. And according to the reviews of this gaming screen, there's unfortunately no integrated switch to turn it off completely. Do you think it's a problem if I unplug the monitor's power cable every day? I may have a power strip with a switch, but as I share it with my family, it's not feasible for them to switch it off regularly.

It is not a problem to disconnect the monitor from the power supply every day. This will not damage the electronics or the OLED panel. It is only important to switch off the monitor normally (standby) before disconnecting the power.

In standby mode, power consumption is very low and has no relevant impact on the service life of the OLED panel. The integrated protective functions such as pixel refresh or panel maintenance are carried out automatically.

If switching off the power strip is impractical in everyday life, the monitor can also be operated permanently in standby mode without this being a problem.
