I seem to be having connection problems. When I plug the Unifying adapter into the laptop, the mouse works immediately. If I do this on the pc, nothing works (win 7 64).
Hello, thank you for your help unfortunately I think I had some kind of problem with windows I have now installed Win 10 and everything works fine.
Have you downloaded and installed the latest Setpoint software from Logitech?
As a rule, the UAC should not become active when you want to pair the mouse with the PC. However, you should look in the device manager to see if the Unifying adapter is properly recognised in the system (USB HID device). The Unifying software from Logitech helps to pair the device with the PC.
The mouse also has 3 channels that can be changed with the selector switch on the bottom of the mouse. I assume that you use channel1 for the notebook. If you want to pair the mouse with the PC (and use a second Unifying receiver), you can set the mouse to channel2 and then connect it to the PC separately. Then in future you will only have to switch between the devices with the channel selector switch and there will be no need to pair again.
What does connection problems mean? Does Logitech Options start up but the mouse is not displayed and a dark window remains open? If yes -> https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5...
