Question about Digitec GaN 4-Port Desktop Charger

I see the following behaviour with this charger (I am otherwise very happy with it): I connect the docking station of my laptop to the charger via USBc. My laptop is also charged in this way, via the docking station. If I now plug or unplug any device into one of the 3 other ports of the charger, the power supply to the docking station is interrupted each time (which causes the external monitor connected to the docking station to switch off briefly, the network connection is also briefly cut), shortly afterwards the docking station has power again, and the monitor and network come back. Is this behaviour to be expected, or do I have a defective device?

Helpful answer

I think someone from Digitec should reply, I've seen the same behaviour.

I'd just like to say that there is a certain logic...
Given that the power supplied by the ports depends on the number of devices connected and their power requirements, I'd imagine that each time the configuration is changed, the charger recalculates the power it's going to deliver to each port, then switches off and restarts at the correct power.
