Delock 6Pin to 2x 8Pin for graphics card
I saw a graphics card on ricardo that has 2x8pin connectors. I have 8 and 6pin connectors on my power supply. Can I connect this cable here to the 6pin and thus connect the 2x8 pin to the new card?
Works IF the graphics card does not draw a lot of power and your power supply is strong enough...
I would rather not do it (without knowing the graphics card). It can end badly with burnt cables and a defective PC.
6pin = max 75Watt (W)
8pin = max 150W

If the graphics card has 2 sockets, this can mean that it requires more than 150W and this can lead to problems if the supply only comes from a 75/150W source.
should work, for me it has in any case........................
