I recently got this monitor. I often connect it to my MacBook Pro via USB-C. The monitor has the function that the MacBook is charged when it is connected. This also works. However, the image transfer only works for a couple of minutes. I found out that I always have to charge my MacBook with the normal charging cable in order for the image transfer to work properly. However, I can't imagine that this is good for the MacBook battery, because now the laptop is always at 100% and still connected to the charging cable. Is this normal, that the image transfer can only work in this way?

Hi, I also have the monitor and with a Macbook Pro, Surface Book 2 and Dell xps 13 the transfer via USB C and charging worked perfectly. But I don't think it's a big problem to always have it plugged in, because when the monitor charges the Mac, it's always at 100%. Modern devices shouldn't really have a problem if you "overcharge" them because it notices when it's at 100%.
