I read that the laptop holder measures 37x28x2 cm, is it possible to stretch this or something similar to fit a Lenovo Y50-70 (38.7x26.34x 2.39 cm)?

Stretching is not possible. The 38.7 cm are too long. When I measure mine, I get a maximum of 37.5 cm, but the laptop must not be too thick.

I agree with Sturisoma. The laptop compartment is probably too small for your laptop. It's more for 13- or 14-inchers.
