I probably have a button in my head but I don't get the USB recognised on 2 computers with software from Giga. When I plug the USB in I always get the message that the device is not recognised on the USB. on the ASUS as well as on the MSI the software only ever recognises my graphics cards. I have even connected a normal micro USB and gone to other USB buses on the PC with the same result. Does anyone have any idea what I am missing.

Both computers socket 1700 MSI and Asus.

Have you checked whether a new firmware is available for the USB controller of the mainboard?
