I ordered the PS5 on the release day. When I placed the order, I was assured of the delivery date. Afterwards, I was informed that I would not receive the PS5 on time. After that, Sony assured me of more units. Apparently that wasn't enough for my order either. I find it extremely problematic how you deal with first-time buyers, whom you have nota bene assured of punctual delivery. Other department stores/online shops have managed this and have not accepted backorders "on the off chance". I ordered from you precisely because you usually publish reliable information. Now I've been sitting for weeks on an order without delivery details.
Ditto. I'm also pretty disappointed. At least a brief update on the current situation would be desirable...

Probably a general problem. I experienced the same thing with another e-commerce retailer. Order, announcement of shipment, then nothing arrives, followed by a sober, uncharitable rejection. On my side, disappointed children's eyes, who were so looking forward to the console.
I see the problem more with Sony, who have probably deliberately created an artificial shortage. Apple also has such gimmicks.

I also ordered the PS5 on release day and received my order confirmation at 9:30am. The order arrived last week on 26.03.21. Hope this helps to estimate for those who are still waiting for their PS5.
I ordered mine on the first day of the pre-sale and am still waiting for at least some information.
That's how it is! I had a similar experience. The disappointment was huge! It was just a filler product because of the postage costs.
Pre-ordered on the day the pre-orders opened. The day the playstation 5 was released a digitec operator informed me that I was in the 1st flight but since then no news...
I'm still waiting for my PS5, I bought it during the pre-order and I'm still waiting. There is no communication from Digitec, it's ridiculous how they treat their customers. I expected at least an estimated delivery time.
