I need an MP3 player for my child that CANNOT play videos. Is that the case with this MP3 player?

Yes, this one is perfect for children. Used several times in my environment. Definitely does not play videos.
Plays MP3 only. Cover of the disc is displayed if available.
Plays only mp3, i.e. only audio files (music) and no videos
