I need a tablet for taking notes on PDF files and simple graph drawings for university. File storage is via cloud. Is this tablet recommended? which pen fits?

And if you only need the tablet for notes? (As a second device, for tasks that need more power, I would have a laptop there, but without a touchscreen).

No, not recommendable in terms of performance! If you want a better-performing tablet in the same price segment, I would recommend the Samsung Galaxy Tab A. However, I can't tell you whether the tablet is suitable for drawing graphs.
