Garmin Edge 1030
Question about Garmin Edge 1030
I mainly plan and ride the routes on the cycle paths signposted by Veloland Schweiz. I never go off-road, but I hardly ever ride on roads without these cycle paths. Is the map of Europe sufficient for this purpose or do I need the Topo Switzerland?
Unfortunately, routing is not one of the strengths of the device. Mountain biking could work, but for road biking gravel roads are the order of the day - even if the routing type is set for road biking. In addition, 4-5 crashes during the day tour are extremely troublesome (of course, this is always the case when the device should explain a situation that is usually unclear). A good bike map is unfortunately the better choice; if this map crashes, you are at least responsible yourself.
