not in countries other than Europe? Model is SM-G955FD?

This phone will work with any GSM carrier worldwide. The "F" in the "SM-G955FZKDAUT" stands for unlocked 4G/LTE phone.

In some countries you may not use all LTE bands due to different frequency. Otherwise everything else should work normal.
