My question, for me a complete
No go which can decide whether to buy or not. Had an online plan (for online gaming) with switch 1 /Nintendo. I then bought an older Nintendo game online (N64 times where it was revised). When I wanted to play it, I got the message please update online subscription so that I can play a purchased game at all. Nintendo didn't want to know about a refund, it was my problem. No 24-hour return policy either, nothing.
Is there anything like that with the switch 2? So has the system changed, or rather, will it be different for the new switch 2?

According to the information available, the general functionality of Nintendo Online and its subscriptions is the same as for the Switch 1. Whether games require an online subscription depends on the game. For most Nintendo titles, however, you don't have to worry about this.
