I have the same problem as sabrina.luond. When I connect the screens via the two HDMI connections on the docking station, I get no signal on the screen HDMI source. However, if I connect the screens individually via HDMI directly to the notebook, it works. I don't have an external power supply for the docking station, but I think this is only needed for charging the notebook via USB-C, isn't it? The docking station does not need any special drivers and the USB drivers are up to date. How could I proceed here? Does anyone have any ideas? It should be possible to connect two HDMI monitors to a newer notebook via the docking station without any problems. Thank you very much for your answer.
I don't have this problem with my office notebook (HP Elitebook). My son, however, also has it with his Lenovo. He locates the problem with the USB-C port of the notebook. It probably needs to be connected to a Thunderbolt-enabled USB-C (the one with the lightning bolt symbol) for it to work.
Many thanks for the answers.
I had a notebook at home last week that had a Thunderbolt-capable USB-C port (with lightning symbol) and the same setup (monitors and cable) worked perfectly with it. So that's really the problem. With the other notebooks (Lenovo and HP), the Lenovo only has a USB-C port without Thunderbolt capability and the other has no USB-C, which I wanted to attach via an adapter, but the adapter probably has the same problem in that it has no Thunderbolt capability. I'll have to see how I solve this. In any case, thank you for locating the problem.
Very satisfied, in daily use with 2 x 4K.
