I have the following questions:

1) It seems that another monitor can be attached, with which one could use DEX even more efficiently. Does anyone have experience with the 12 & 16 GB Ram models? Is "more RAM" also noticeable in operation with a second monitor?

2) It would be my first Android tablet. Unfortunately I hear more and more that the tablets run enormously fast and clean in the beginning, but due to bad ram management and suboptimal software design the device has to call up more and more hardware performance with every update. If this is not available (e.g. Ultra with 8GB RAM) the device becomes slower and slower. My question: the 8GB Ultra is out of the question for me anyway, but I wonder whether it might make more sense to go for the 12 or the 16 (regardless of the price)? Does anyone have any experience with my concerns?

3) Can it also be used the other way round? That I can use the tablet as an external monitor? For example, connect it upright to a Lenovo Joga X1?

4) Let's assume I have the 5G model and am working on a Word document with the keyboard in the DEX and save it in my cloud. When I get home, I open the Word document on my PC, continue to work on it, save it again and can continue to work on the document the next day with the Ultra on the train. Is this possible and does it work? If so, does it work with all Windows-compatible programmes (e.g. Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.)?

3) Yes, you can use it externally. I don't know about upright, but you can use it in landscape format. You just have to be on the same Wi-Fi.
4) Yes, as long as you have a SIM card with an internet subscription for the tablet, you can also use the cloud such as OneDrive/Google Drive. There you can also work on the documents and save them directly there. (Just like with a mobile phone.)

More ram certainly better.The tab s8 ultra is noticeably better than s7 or s3 which I own.The large ultra display is also more pleasing to the eyes.However, there will soon be s9 which will probably be even better.I hardly understand your other questions.
