Question about Fairphone 2

I have the Fairphone2 from the new production. I had to send it back straight away because the camera didn't work and the phone kept switching itself off and on. Now I got a new one 2 days ago. Same problem: it often switches itself off and on. Does anyone have the same problem? Possibly bad production of the entire series?

I think that's the case with all of them! I had an FP2 from the crowdfunding period and was unable to use it for the first 6 months due to glaring software errors.
use it! Now I've been using it for several months and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!
Unfortunately, the defects (software & hardware) became more frequent and I sent it in. About 2 months (!!!) later I received an 80% new FP2 (only one module was the old one, not even the motherboard was the same).
At the moment (3months after the repair) I have the following defects:
- simply switches off about 2 times a day
- antenna has 4G but quality of phone calls was better 10 years ago
- On the left ear the screen never turns off, on the right it turns off immediately and can only be turned on again by rebooting.
- Wifi always recognises it, but you can only dial in 50/50
- When scrolling longer texts, it often jumps up or down and you lose the context immediately.
- Battery lasts just 13 hours with very moderate use (no games, little email and a little tel and SMS).

Well, the basic idea is still great! But unfortunately Fairphone manifests with the devices that a fair mobile phone (sorry, but the part is far from smart) apparently remains a utopia - a real pity!
That's more or less my experience...

I also had the problem with the restart. I contacted Fairphone support, apparently there are some devices where the space for the battery is a few millimetres too large, which is why the battery has a little too much play. As a result, the contact between the battery and the rest of the device can briefly separate even with slight vibrations, which interrupts the power supply to the device and the device restarts itself. In the Fairphone forum, I read a tip to clamp a piece of ice cream stick between the battery and the back cover, which holds the battery in position.
