I have the Ecovacs W2 Pro Omni and am only moderately satisfied. Main criticism: The windows do get clean. Nevertheless, a faint haze remains - meaning you can even see the wiping streaks when you look at the windows against the sun. This is unacceptable for me. Is this better with this new model?
PS I only let the robot work with distilled water or the original cleaning solution. I change the mops with every window.

And then another question: The original cleaning agent is exorbitantly expensive. Is that still the case - or are there affordable alternatives?

The W3 OMNI offers several improvements over the W2 Pro OMNI, particularly through automatic mop washing and optimized spray technology. However, there is no guarantee that streaks or wipe marks will no longer be visible against the light. Although the W3 performs significantly better in practical tests, fine marks cannot be completely avoided depending on the dirt and incidence of light. The original cleaning agent is still relatively expensive, and unfortunately, there are currently no cheaper alternatives approved by the manufacturer.

We exclusively use Potz window cleaner from Migros. It has been working perfectly for about two years.
