I have the Denon AVR-2400H, which has HEOS integrated. But now I have a (wired) 5.2 system on it. I have two/three questions: (1) Can I integrate these boxes and make it a 7.2? (2) Is it possible to build a complete home cinema system with HEOS which is controlled by the AV receiver or is the home cinema system only possible via a soundbar which can then replace the receiver and control the speakers?

Accepted Answer

No, unfortunately this does not work. M.W. such a home cinema setting can only be achieved with the HEOS Bar (5.1, i.e. Bar + Sub + 2 Heos LS) or the HEOS AVR (L + R + C, all cables plus Sub and Surround with two HEOS LS).
