I have seen in various forums and also YouTube videos that certain P20 Pro's have a problem with Google Maps, i.e. the app is extremely slow and lags. Can anyone confirm this?

I can confirm that, using Google Maps on the P20 Pro really takes patience and is quite frustrating from a user experience point of view - hope they get that right soon with a fix/update.

GoogleMaps (app - in DE) also works for me without any problems.

I have no problem with Googel maps, but location must be enabled.

I have similar problems with the Mate 10 Pro. The location information should be switched off... So my tip: before you start Google Maps, activate the location information, then everything will work perfectly ;-)
