I have read that there is a facebook icon in the menu. What does it do, does it open a facebook app? Or does it open a web browser pointed at the facebook website? If I don't use facebook, can I remove this facebook button from the menu? If I cannot remove it, then can I at least re-arrange the menu to put this button to some lower corner where I don't see it as much?

For Nokia 225, FB is an app, created proprietory for the Nokia 30+ series OS, not a browser pointed at FB. I don't think you can remove the app from non-java phones like 225. You can surely move it to the bottom/corner as you wish..
