I have purchased this screen. And when I connect it to my Macbook Air via USB-C, the picture comes up. But it has red haze and streaks on it. What could that be?

I don't know, but it works perfectly for me with an MBA M2 2022 - would buy the screen for it again any time! Finally a Mac screen with touch ;-)
